Justine was invited by the Naval command NAVFAC EXWC and their Diversity Committee to commemorate Women’s Equality Day 2020 in the United States. She conducted an interactive workshop focusing on gender as a social construct, and interrogated the real impacts it has on our health and well-being. Justine also presented the ways that media and human behaviors reinforce gender norms that hold us back from achieving gender parity and thus, our potential, safety, and health.
